Our own Darius Austin reported on July 14 that Turner started his assignment with Class A Rancho Cucamonga and was on base in all four plate appearances. Turner played two games total for Rancho Cucamonga and went 1-for-5 with a run scored and two walks.
Bill Plunkett, who covers the Dodgers for the Orange County Register, tweeted the following on Turner's activation.

The veteran infielder has played for the Orioles, Mets and Dodgers and has a career batting average of .267 with 11 home runs and 110 RBI.
