By on 7/27/2014 04:00:00 PM

Cleveland Indians third baseman Lonnie Chisenhall is out of the lineup for Sunday's finale against the Kansas City Royals after missing Saturday's game with an unspecified illness, according to the team's Twitter account. He was replaced by Mike Aviles. Shortstop Asdrubal Cabrera is back in the lineup after missing five games with back spasms, according to Jordan Bastian of Cleveland has lost four straight and is 3.5 games back in the AL Wild Card race.

Chisenhall is hitting .313/.382/.480 (OPS+ 143) with nine homers and 41 RBI. Cabrera is hitting .247/.308/.392 (OPS+ 98) with nine homers and 39 RBI. He has stolen seven bases and scored 52 runs.

Chisenhall, 25, was the Indians' first round draft pick in 2008 and made his debut June 27, 2011. He had not fulfilled his potential prior to 2014, and began the season bouncing in and out of the starting lineup. However, on June 9 Chisenhall had one of the best nights by any batter in Indians history when he went 5 for 5 with three home run and drove in 9 runs in a 17-7 win over the Texas Rangers. Chisenhall is pre-arb and under team control through 2017.
