Tate, who is projected to be opposite Calvin Johnson, was picked up by the Lions this offseason. In order for them to become a top-tier offense, Tate will need to be 100 percent for the 2014 NFL Season.
Ansah led all rookies with eight sacks in 2013, and he too is a large part of the Lions future. Neither player has been ruled out for the season opener in September, and new Head Coach Jim Caldwell will address the media this Sunday.
