Defenseman Stephane Robidas continues to recover from his second leg fracture of the season, in hopes of starting a strong first season with the Toronto Maple Leafs. According to Lance Hornby of Toronto Sun, his recovery is not currently a concern moving into the season. Robidas will likely participate in training camp in September.

Robidas has been in rehabilitation for his leg for the last two months, and recently signed a contract with Toronto, bringing the club his experience in the league. Toronto GM Dave Nonis believes that the two breaks to his leg will not affect Robidas' performance this season.

The 37-year-old defenseman feels as though he is almost ready for training camp in September. He shows much excitement to play his final three seasons with an 'Original Six' team such as Toronto.

Robidas ended his season with the Anaheim Ducks after being traded from the Dallas Stars with one goal, three assists in 14 games.
