Lloyd McClendon told MLB.com,
"Robby's tight and sore. He asked for a day off, so he's off. It has been a tough grind for him. He's only had one day off in the first half, played in the All-Star Game, traveled. It just makes sense after 28 innings."The All-Star has been red hot in his last nine games. He is batting .462 with six RBI's. This season he is batting .335 with seven home runs and 57 RBI's.
