Orioles Injury Update: Bud Norris will start Tuesday or Wednesday

The Baltimore Orioles split a doubleheader against the Boston Red Sox on Saturday, winning the second game by the score of 7-4. At 47-40, the Orioles have a one-game lead over the Toronto Blue Jays in the American League East. Kevin Gausman goes in the series finale today. On the injury front, Bud Norris appears to be ready to come off the disabled list and will start on Tuesday or Wednesday.

If reported on July 4 that Norris was scheduled for a bullpen session on Saturday and could come off the disabled list on Monday.

Roch Kubatko, who covers the Orioles for MSNsports, tweeted the following on Norris.
Norris, who has been out with a groin injury, last pitched on June 21.  He's 7-5 with a 3.62 ERA in 14 starts this season. He's allowed 73 hits and 28 walks in 87 innings, while striking out 60. The six-year veteran has pitched for the Astros and Orioles and has a career record of 45-54 with a 4.29 ERA.
