Phillies Injury Update: Cliff Lee on track for rehab

By on 7/01/2014 08:00:00 PM

Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Cliff Lee has been sidelined since May 20 with a strained flexor-pronator tendon. On June 23, he threw a full bullpen session and now according to Jim Salisbury, Lee could make a rehab start if he feels good on Wednesday.

In ten starts this season, Lee is 4-4 with a 3.18 ERA. He was aiming for a mid-July start and that seems promising. He should be back before the July 31 trade deadline. The Phillies will most likely have a few offers mainly because of his experience both in the regular season and the postseason.
