By on 7/21/2014 03:15:00 PM

The Philadelphia Phillies lost to the Atlanta Braves on Sunday by the score of 8-2. With the loss, the Phillies are buried in last place in the National League East with a record of 43-55. With the team bound making trades for the deadline, there have been some roster moves involving at least one player that could be traded. Cliff Lee, Wil Nieves and Reid Brignac, who have all been sidelined due to injuries, have been activated and will be available for tonight's game against the San Francisco Giants.

Our own Pete Schwichtenberg reported on July 15 that Lee got hit hard in his final rehab start, allowing eight runs (three earned), in 4 2/3 innings. He threw 76 pitches and walked one, while striking out two.

Todd Zolecki, who covers the Phillies for, tweeted the following update on Lee and other roster moves.
Lee is scheduled to start tonight against Ryan Vogelsong when the Phillies open a three-game series against the San Francisco Giants.  Lee is 4-4 with a 3.18 ERA this season.  He's had three consecutive seasons with 200 or more strikeouts and has a career record of 143-90 with a 3.50 ERA.

As for Brignac and Nieves, Brignac returns following an injury which kept him sidelined since June 20. He is batting .258 with a home run and 10 RBI in 66 at bats.  Nieves has been out since June 19 and is batting .259 with a home run and four RBI this season.
