The Colorado Rockies have dealt with multiple injuries lately. Carlos Gonzalez, Nolan Arenado, Eddie Butler and Boone Logan are in the midst of dealing and recovering from injuries. Updates on all four come courtesy of Thomas Harding of

Carlos Gonzalez
Gonzalez will take batting practice on Thursday and he is inching toward a rehab assignment. He is recovering from a tumor in his left index finger. He has appeared in 52 games this season and is batting .255 with eight home runs and 31 RBI's.

Nolan Arenado
Arenado is set to return on Thursday to the lineup. He fractured his left middle finger, but he has confidence that it is healed and he is ready to go. Before his May 23 injury, Arenado was the front runner for the shortstop position on the National League All-Star team because he was hitting .305 with six home runs and 28 RBI's through 49 games.

Eddie Butler
Butler will throw live batting practice on Saturday and could be ready for a rehab assignment. Once he appears for Triple-A Colorado Springs he could be activated a day or two after his rehab start. Butler has only appeared in one game this season. He went 5.1 innings and gave up six runs on 10 hits. He got the loss in that game.

Boone Logan
The 29-year-old has appeared in 21 games this season for the Rockies. He has a 5.87 ERA through 15.1 innings pitched. Logan pitched on June 26 for Triple-A Colorado Springs as he begins his rehab assignment. He allowed one run on two hits and a walk while striking out one batter in the final inning of the game. He is recovering from left elbow inflammation.
