Bills Injury Update: Marquise Goodwin has injured hamstring

By on 8/03/2014 11:23:00 AM

The Buffalo Bills may be without Wide Receiver Marquise Goodwin tonight. Rotoworld is reporting Goodwin should be considered questionable for tonight's preseason opener against the New York Giants with a hamstring injury.

Goodwin left practice Friday and never returned.

He is fighting for time with rookie wide receiver Sammy Watkins, wideout Chris Hogan, and veteran Mike Williams. Watkins and Hogan have been getting a lot of praise for their efforts, but Williams stole the show on Friday. The Bills offensive coaching staff is hoping Williams can develop into a bonafide red-zone target for Quarterback EJ Manuel.

Goodwin also made news in the first few days of camp when he announced on Twitter that he has sickle-cell anemia and asthma. He later deleted the Tweet.

The Bills play the Giants in the Hall of Fame game tonight.
