Andrelton Simmons suffered a left ankle sprain in tonight's fourth inning. He is listed as day-to-day and will be re-evaluated tomorrow.

Simmons, who won the 2013 Gold Glove award, is hitting .249/.298/.341 (OPS+ 78) with five homers and 36 RBI for the second-place Braves. Now 24, Simmons is in his third major league season. He was drafted by the Braves in 2010 (2nd round) and made his debut June 2, 2012. Prior to the 2014 season he signed an extension for seven years, $58 million that takes him through 2020.
