Indians Injury Update: Ryan Raburn to DL

The Cleveland Indians improved to 63-61 on the season following a 7-5 win last night over the Minnesota Twins. Trevor Bauer allowed five runs in the first, but an 11-hit offensive attack lead by Yan Gomes, who went 3-for-4 with a home run, sealed the win for the Indians. On the injury front, the Indians placed outfielder Ryan Raburn on the disabled list with a sore wrist.


Paul Hoynes, who covers the Indians for Cleveland.com, tweeted the following on Raburn's status.
According to Hoynes, it appears Raburn had been suffering from the injury for quite some time.
Raburn, in his ninth Major League season, is batting .191 with three home runs and 21 RBI this season. Last season, Raburn batted .272 with 16 home runs and 55 RBI The veteran has played for the Tigers and Indians and is a career .252 hitter with 73 home runs and 292 RBI.
