I reported on August 28 that Morris left the visitors' clubhouse at Angel Stadium with an apparent hip injury just two hours before the start of Tuesday's game.
Joe Frisaro, who covers the Marlins for MLB.com, tweeted the following on Morris.
Good news on Bryan Morris. #Marlins reliever has a right groin strain. Nothing major. Could miss only a few days.It appears that Morris should be able to return when the Marlins return home on September 1.

Morris has been excellent this season since being acquired from the Pirates, allowing just two earned runs in 37 2/3 innings.
Morris, in his third Major League season, is 7-0 with a 1.76 ERA in 56 games this season. He's allowed only 55 hits and 22 walks in 61 1/3 innings this season. In 116 career games with the Pirates and the Marlins, Morris is 12-7 with a 2.60 ERA.
