Emeka Okafor hasn't played in an NBA game in over a year, yet he's a man that is in high demand as NBA training camps open in about a month. Okafor suffered the injury in the preseason while with Washington last October. He was traded to the Phoenix Suns prior to opening night in a trade that brought Gortat to the Wizards. Now it appears that nearly half the league is interested in Okafor.

As reported by Marc Stein of, despite the fact that the 31-year old center missed the entire 2013-2014 season after recovering from a serious neck ailment, numerous teams have interest in Okafor.

Teams on the radar for Okafor include the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Miami Heat. Regardless of the interest in Okafaor, it appears that not likely to sign with any team until around mid-season, as he continues to recover from a herniated disk..
