Our own Darius Austin reported on July 30 that Cabrera, who was placed on the disabled list at the beginning of July with a left hamstring strain, had been activated. It appears that the hamstring injury has resurfaced.
According to Corey Brock, who covers the Padres for MLB.com,
The #Padres announce that Cabrera was scratched with a left hamstring cramp.Cabrera, in his sixth Major League season, is batting .232 with three home runs, 20 RBI and 18 stolen bases this season. He's a career .248 hitter with 12 home runs, 128 RBI and 136 stolen bases, in 482 games.
