White Sox Injury Update: Adam Eaton set to return Tuesday

By on 8/25/2014 05:45:00 PM

The Chicago White Sox expect to have Adam Eaton return to the lineup Tuesday after being placed on the disabled list on August 9.  He left the game in the first inning of the game August 8 with an oblique injury, according to Sports Injury Alert.

Eaton is playing his third year of major league baseball and his first in the American League.  He has played in 94 games with the White Sox this year with a .304 average one homerun and 32 RBIs.

The White Sox are in fourth place in the American League Central Division with a 59-71 record.  The team starts a three game series with Cleveland Indians (66-63) on Tuesday night.  They hope to break a six game losing streak after being swept by the Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees last week.
