49ers Injury Report: Anthony Davis, Michael Crabtree, Chris Culliver

By on 9/07/2014 08:00:00 AM

After a rough preseason, the San Francisco 49ers will have some injuries to deal with Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys:

San Francisco’s final injury report lists tackle Anthony Davis (hamstring) and backup center Marcus Martin (knee) as out on Sunday. Davis is the big blow, as his streak of 64 consecutive starts to begin his career will come to an end. Jonathan Martin will start in Davis’ place.

The 49ers will hope to have Michael Crabtree healthy, as he is listed as questionable with a calf injury. Crabtree only played in five games last season after totaling 1,105 yards in 2012.

Starting cornerback Chris Culliver is listed as probable with an ankle injury. Tight end Vance McDonald is also probable with a hamstring injury.

San Francisco will attempt to finally capture a Super Bowl title after narrow misses the past three seasons. They will be in fierce competition with the Seattle Seahawks for the NFC West division crown, but will have to keep pace without the suspended Aldon Smith for the first three weeks of the season.
