Angels rookie DH/1B C.J. Cron and his .276 batting average were out of the lineup for s few days and now we know why: he was dealing with a sore wrist, tweets Mike DiGiovanna of the LA Times. Cron came into the game as a late-inning replacement in Thursday's 7-3 win over the Texas Rangers and did not have an at-bat. He is expected to play in the weekend series against the Houston Astros.
In Cron's absence, the Angels used Efren Navarro and Albert Pujols at 1B/DH.
