Bears Injury Update: Jared Allen, Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery

By on 9/19/2014 10:00:00 AM

Following a terrific come from behind win against the San Francisco 49ers, the Chicago Bears are still hobbling. Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery were both questionable for the game and both ended up playing. They are both, however, still listed on the week three injury report.

According to Darryl Slater of the,

....The Bears were without their top receiver on Thursday, as Brandon Marshall was sidelined with an ankle injury. Meanwhile, the Bears' other top target, Alshon Jeffery, was limited with a hamstring injury.

Per Paul Jackiewicz of PFZ, Bears defensive end Jared Allen was held out of Thursday’s practice with a back injury.

As tough as Jared Allen is, and the fact that both Jeffery and Marshall played week two, suggest that they will likely suit up come Monday. I would still stay in tune with the injury report, and due to their Monday night game, fantasy owners should monitor Marshall and Jeffery's status prior to the one o'clock games and have other options at wide receiver in case of a late scratch.
