By on 9/20/2014 09:15:00 PM

Braves left-hander Mike Minor left Saturday night's start against the New York Mets after one inning with left shoulder discomfort, per Mark Bowman of MLB.com. He was relieved by David Hale.

Minor's spring training began late due to illness, and he was shut down in mid-February with shoulder issues, coming off the DL on  May 2. Prior to Saturday's start, Minor was 6-11 with a 4.74 ERA (76 ERA+) in 24 starts (144.1 innings). He will be evaluated by the Braves' medical staff.

Minor is in his first arbitration year (Super 2) at $3.85 million and under team control through 2017.
