Brewers Injury Update: Khris Davis sits with forearm soreness

The Milwaukee Brewers remained within striking distance in the National League Central with a 4-2 win over the Miami Marlins on Thursday. Ryan Braun and Matt Clark homered for the Brewers, who improved to 76-71 on the season. The Brewers were without Khris Davis, who sat with soreness in his right forearm.

Adam McCalvy, who covers the Brewers for, tweeted the following on Davis.
With Davis out of the lineup, Gerardo Parra got the start in left field and went 1-for-4.

Davis, in his second Major League season, is batting .251 with 22 home runs and 68 RBI in 133 games. Last season, he hit .279 with 11 home runs and 27 RBI. He's a career .257 hitter with 33 home runs and 95 RBI.
