Bruins Injury Update: David Pastrnak injures shoulder

By on 9/25/2014 10:00:00 AM

Boston Bruins are without their first round prospect of 2014 NHL draft David Pastrnak. He was hoping to go into training camp to learn from his fellow teammates and hoping to leave an impression and maybe getting a start with the big club.

Pastrnak left Saturdays practice after getting hit by Matt Bartkowski and colliding into the boards. It was then revealed that he "tweaked" his shoulder. It is not said to be serious and he will continue to rehab and make it back as fast as possible.

The injury timing is the most unfortunate part about this. He could possibly make the opening night roster but he would need every given chance to prove himself to do so.

Last season in Sweden he had eight goals and 24 points in 36 games.
