Canadiens Injury Update: Davis Drewiske already having a bad start to the season

By on 9/19/2014 11:30:00 AM

Montreal Canadiens defenseman Davis Drewiske is already having a bad start to the season. He was aiming for a better season after missing most of last season.

Last season the defenseman suffered a shoulder injury during training camp. He had surgery to repair the injury and missed a few months.

He started skating in January, joined his teammates in February. After the Olympics he was missing in action at morning practice because his mom passed away. When he returned he was put on waivers and when he cleared he joined the Hamilton Bulldogs.

Now that it is a new season he is looking for a fresh start hoping to crack the NHL roster.

The only bad news (could be worse), is that he is starting off the season with a black eye. He received a puck to the head a few days ago.
