Cardinals Injury Report: Carson Palmer will not play

By on 9/14/2014 11:30:00 AM

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer had not thrown a ball since Monday, and recent reports indicate he will not be able to go after trying to throw prior to the Cardinals' contest against the New York Giants on Sunday.

Early this morning Adam Schefter reported:

So it looks like it's Drew Stanton for the Cardinals. The eighth year pro out of Michigan State appeared in 12 games with the Detroit Lions and has five career touchdown passes to nine interceptions.

The fact that Palmer is sidelined will have some fantasy implications as well. It's going to be tough to trust Michael Floyd and Larry Fitzgerald in your lineup with their signal caller out.

Keep an eye on Palmer's status going forward.
