Cowboys Injury Update: Tony Romo misses practice

By on 9/25/2014 11:11:00 AM

The Dallas Cowboys' starting quarterback Tony Romo (back/rest) missed practice on Wednesday, as reported by Rotoworld.com.

This is nothing new for Romo and the Cowboys he, also sat out at last Wednesday's practice. It is clearly a precautionary measure. This is due to the fact that Romo is still recovering from back surgery he had last year.

All indications point to Romo starting in Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints. He should have a good game against a Saints' pass defense that ranks as one of the worst in the NFL, giving up an average of 278 yards passing a game.

The Cowboys are 2-1 this year coming off a win against the St. Louis Rams last week, in which they were able to overcome a 21-point deficit. The Saints should expect to see a very confident Cowboys offense. The Cowboys defense, however, will have their hands full with Drew Brees and company.
