By on 9/14/2014 03:00:00 PM

The Miami Dolphins have lost their starting running back Knowshon Moreno for the remainder of today's game. Moreno left the field with an apparent elbow injury.

Miami had a massive rushing attack last weekend against the New England Patriots, and Moreno lead the way with a huge game. Expectations for this weeks game against Buffalo were incredibly high. After the first quarter Moreno was done for the game and his season may be in jeopardy. Upon video review Moreno's elbow gets bent into excessive hyper extension causing his below to face the wrong way while being tackled. Moreno was taken to the locker room and ruled out for the remainder of the game. More tests need to be done to examine the extent of his injury, but from video review it looked bad.

Update: Moreno underwent an MRI which revealed that he has a dislocated elbow.
