Dolphins Injury Update: Mike Pouncey returns to practice

By on 9/18/2014 12:15:00 AM

Despite suffering a tough loss at the hands of the Buffalo Bills last Sunday, the Miami Dolphins now have something to smile about. According to James Walker of ESPN.com, Mike Pouncey is set to return from a major hip surgery that has had him sidelined since the start of training camp.

Now wouldn’t it be amazing if Dolphin fans were treated to another surprise and Pouncey took to the field this Sunday? Well, I wouldn’t bet on it, sorry for planting the seed. The decision on whether or not he can play is unfortunately not his. That decision is up to team doctors, so his return is still unknown.

According to a report by Andy Kent of yahoo.com, Pouncey had this to say about his potential return to the field following practice Tuesday:
I feel like I can play but it's not my decision. I did everything today, just getting back in the groove and it felt good to be back out there with my football team. It feels normal and it just feels good to get back in a stance without it hurting again.
The Dolphins’ next game will be played at 4:25 PM EST this Sunday when Kansas City comes to town.
