Jaguars Injury Report: Allen Hurns, Cecil Shorts

By on 9/21/2014 10:39:00 AM

The Jacksonville Jaguars have listed both Allen Hurns and Cecil Shorts as probable for Sunday's home game against the Indianapolis Colts, according to the Jaguars' team page.

Hurns injured his ankle late in the game in Week 2 against the Washington Redskins. He had not practiced on Wednesday and Thursday, however he fully participated in Friday's practice.

Hurns put up impressive numbers in Week 1 with four receptions for 110 yards and two touchdowns. His Week 2 numbers were not so impressive with two receptions for 13 yards and no touchdowns.

Shorts has been dealing with a hamstring injury and has yet to play a game this year. He had limited participation Wednesday and Thursday and was a full participant in practice on Friday.

The Jaguars are 0 - 2 this season and are facing a tough opponent in the Colts, who also have a surprising 0 - 2 record. Having Hurns and Shorts on the field will be a big boost for the offense.
