Jaguars Injury Update: Marqise Lee ruled out

By on 9/19/2014 11:00:00 AM

The Jacksonville Jaguars offense is not exactly a juggernaut to begin with, but it could be without yet another wide receiver Sunday against the Colts.

Wideout Marqise Lee has been ruled out of the contest, adding another name to a lengthy list of injured Jaguars pass-catchers.

A hamstring injury is Lee's biggest issue, and even though he tried to practice earlier this week, he will not be playing on Sunday.

“I pulled it a little bit, felt it a little bit and decided to shut it down,” Lee said.

Other playmakers dealing with injuries for the Jaguars include rookie Allen Hurns, who injured an ankle in last week's game, fellow wide receiver Cecil Shorts, who is dealing with a hamstring injury that has kept him out the first two weeks of the season, and tight end Marcedes Lewis, who was placed on injured reserve-designated to return with an ankle injury.
