Jets Injury Report: Dee Milliner, Eric Decker, Chris Johnson

By on 9/22/2014 03:00:00 PM

The New York Jets could be missing a couple of key players when they host the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football:

No player is officially listed as out on New York's final injury report, but a few were limited in practice during the week. Most importantly, cornerback Dee Milliner is listed as doubtful after picking up a new quad injury during the week.

Wide receiver Eric Decker is listed as questionable after missing practice on Thursday and Friday with a hamstring injury. If Decker cannot play, Geno Smith will have limited options in the passing game against a Bears defense that played well last week in San Francisco.

The Jets should have everyone else available on Monday night. Running back Chris Johnson's status was uncertain throughout the week due to a ankle injury, but he is listed as probable.

Center Nick Mangold (shoulder) and guard Willie Colon (calf) were both limited in practice early in the week but should be able to play. Linebackers Nick Bellore (hip) and A.J. Edds (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday but should be able to participate.

Rounding out the injury report, linebacker Quinton Coples (elbow) and safety Josh Bush (quadriceps) are both expected to play and listed as probable.

The Jets blew a large lead in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers and will now have to beat Chicago to avoid a 1-2 start. Milliner's potential absence could be a big one, as the Bears' receivers will present a major challenge.
