Lions Injury Update: Reggie Bush limited by knee injury

By on 9/11/2014 11:00:00 AM

Detroit Lions star running back Reggie Bush hurt his knee week one against the New York Giants. He was listed on the injury report on Wednesday.

According to Dave Birkett on Twitter:

Justin Rogers from mlive.com also reported that prior to practice Reggie Bush was seen with an ice pack on his knee.

While the fact he was able to practice is a good sign, the fact he was limited and is already injured is worrisome. Bush, the former Heisman Trophy winner at USC is an explosive play maker, but is often found on the injury report. If he is unable to go, Joique Bell will see the majority of the snaps at running back. If Bush is unavailable, Bell would be a quality fantasy option although they are playing a stout Carolina Panthers defense.

Monitor Bush's status throughout the weekend.
