Packers Injury Report: Clay Matthews, Jarrett Boykin, Brad Jones

By on 9/28/2014 10:01:00 AM

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are having a tough go so far this season and with the Chicago Bears on deck, winners of two in a row, things are looking bad for the Packers:

The Packers’ final Week 4 Injury Report should be seen as a win to the Packers and their fans. With a total of only six players on the report, four of the players have been listed as probable.

Both RT Bryan Bulaga (Knee) and LCB Davon House (Knee) are likely locks for today’s game after both players participated in full practices all week.

Two of the Packers’ Outside Linebackers, Clay Matthews (Groin) and Nick Perry (Wrist), participated in practice all week, but only for a limited amount of time each outing. Although it may not sound like it, I would bet both Matthews and Perry are in the lineup come tip-off.

Now for the players that were listed as questionable for today’s game, WR Jarrett Boykin (Knee/Groin) and Brad Jones (Quadriceps) both played at times during practice this week. In Boykin’s case, he is recovering from two separate injuries and was a DNP at practice on Friday. As for Jones, he did participate in practice throughout the week but his playing time was limited.

With the fear of dropping to 1 – 3, the Packers should have all the motivation they need to bring it today, especially with the Bears playing as strong as they have been to start the season.
