Packers Injury Report: Eddie Lacy, Bryan Bulaga, Brad Jones

By on 9/13/2014 02:30:00 PM

The Green Bay Packers were bit by the injury bug in week one during their beating at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks. They did, however, have a long week to recover after playing last Thursday's opening night, and it looks like Eddie Lacy should be good to go Sunday against the New York Jets.

Eddie Lacy sustained his second concussion in as many years week one. He was trying out a different style of helmet for the game, and said he will switch to the older style going forward. He was a full participant in practice on Thursday and is listed as probable according to Lacy should resume his role as the lead back in the Packers offense on Sunday.

Offensive Tackle Bryan Bulaga gave it a go on Thursday in practice after suffering a torn MCL against the Seahawks. Coach Mike McCarthy said he will have to prove he can go the distance in order to play Sunday, and is listed as questionable according to Derek Sherrod will start in place of Bulaga at right tackle if he can't go.

Inside linebacker Brad Jones had a disappointing week one and also suffered a quad injury which will keep him out of Sunday's home opener with the Jets per multiple reports including Jamari Lattimore will start in place of Jones, and has a chance to earn a place in the starting lineup after Jones under-performed in week one. Lattimore played well in his three starts for Jones in 2013.

Defensive back Demetri Goodson (concussion) and tight end Brandon Bostick (fibula) are both listed as probable for Sunday as well.
