Panthers Injury Report: Jonathan Stewart, Thomas Davis, DeAngelo Williams

By on 9/28/2014 09:15:00 AM

The Carolina Panthers will look to extend their record to 3 – 1 today when they battle against the Baltimore Ravens at the M&T Bank Stadium:

The Panthers’ final injury report for week 4 consists of eight players; four players that are probable, two that are questionable and two that have no chance at stepping onto the field today against the Ravens.

In the case of the Panthers’ defense, so long as WLB Thomas Davis’ (Hip) health continued to improve over the weekend, the team will likely have all three members of their defense back today. The other two defensive players are SS Roman Harper (Knee) and LCB Charles Godfrey (Ankle), both whom participated in full practice on Thursday and Friday.

When it comes to the offense, unfortunately the Panthers will be without RB Fozzy Whittaker (Thigh) as he has been listed as doubtful and hasn’t practiced all week. I also wouldn’t expect to see RB Jonathan Stewart (Knee) on the field today; although he did practice today it was limited. The team will also be without offensive lineman Garry Williams, but being on the IR, Williams is likely to miss more than just one game.

The good news for the Panthers Offense is that WR Jerricho Cotchery (Thigh) has been listed as probable for today’s game. It would also appear that the team will have RB DeAngelo Williams (Thigh) in action today. Both Cotchery and Williams have participated in full practices all week. I would consider them a go.

Hopefully the Panthers can get things done against the Ravens today at 1:00 PM EST, but you can be sure the Ravens also want to improve on their 2 - 1 start.
