Patriots Injury Report: Alfonzo Dennard, Jamie Collins, Rob Gronkowski

By on 9/29/2014 12:30:00 PM

The New England Patriots will not have many injuries to deal with when they pay a visit to the Kansas City Chiefs on “Monday Night Football.”

New England's final Week 4 injury report only has one player listed as out and nobody as questionable. The Patriots have a few players dealing with lingering injuries, but just about everyone should be able to play without limitation.

Tight end Rob Gronkowski still appears on the injury report as a formality, as he has been limited in practice while finishing up his recovery from a torn ACL and MCL suffered last December. Gronkowski likely isn't 100 percent yet and the Patriots are slowly working him back to full strength.

Cornerback Alfonzo Dennard will miss his third straight game due to a shoulder injury after being listed as probable earlier in the week. Logan Ryan will likely start in place of Dennard.

Linebacker Jamie Collins is dealing with a minor thigh injury and is listed as probable.

Backup defensive linemen Micheal Buchanan (ankle) and reserve safety Don Jones (hamstring) are also probable after being limited in practice. Starting right guard Dan Connolly rounds out the injury report and is probable with a foot injury.

The Patriots sit at 2-1, but have really only looked sharp in their Week 2 win over the Minnesota Vikings. New England's offense will be challenged by a Kansas City defense that is beat up but still very capable.
