Penguins Injury Update: Crosby and Malkin missing start of training camp

Pittsburgh Penguins have started training camp with two of their top players missing. Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby are both suffering injuries. These injuries are not considered serious and are said to be sitting out for precaution.

According to reporter Josh Yohe,
The exact injury for Malkin is also unknown. Both are not expected to miss much time, they will be reevaluated in the next few days and the team will see where they are at.

Last season, Crosby played 80 games, recorded 36 goals and 68 assists.

Malkin had 23 goals and 49 assists in 60 games.
