Citing Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:

"You know, I can't focus on that right now," Bradford said. "I think it's a little too soon. I haven't even thought that far ahead. It's still pretty hard to comprehend (the injury) right now."
Since being drafted first overall in the 2010 NFL draft, Bradford has started all 16 games just twice. In 49 games, he has just 59 touchdown passes to 38 interceptions adding a mediocre 58.6 completion percentage. Not exactly what the Rams were hoping for when they spent the first overall pick on him.
Following the 2014 season, the Rams may have to consider parting ways with Bradford, or at the very least, restructuring his contract. The $13 million base salary for a quarterback still not even close to living up to his draft pick, may just be too steep.
I hope all the best for Sam Bradford, but he may never take another snap as the Rams starting quarterback.
