Rams Injury Update: Shaun Hill

By on 9/20/2014 11:22:00 AM

The St. Louis Rams tweeted on September 18th that "Coach Jeff Fisher stated that 'the starting quarterback could be a game time decision.' @STLouisRams."

Shaun Hill did some work at Thursday's practice, which included some seven-on-seven drills, even though Austin Davis continued to get most of his reps with the first team, according to an article posted by Josh Alper on

Davis is coming off of a win last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and has been admirably filling in for the injured Hill. He has only played in two games in his short NFL career, with his first start last week. Davis' numbers so far are 38 - 52 for 73.1 percent, 427 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception.

The Rams have indicated that if Shaun Hill is able to play on Sunday, he will be the starting quarterback. The potential is there for whomever starts at quarterback, as they will face the Dallas Cowboys' 13th-ranked defense, giving up an average of 212 passing yards a game.
