Rockies Injury Update: Wilin Rosario activated

By on 9/08/2014 07:30:00 AM

The Colorado Rockies defeated the San Diego Padres on Sunday by the score of 6-0. The win improved the Rockies to 59-84, fourth in the National League West. In addition to the good news of the victory was the return of Wilin Rosario, who was activated from the disabled list. Rosario did not start, but got a hit as a pinch hitter and scored a run.

I reported on August 29 that Rosario, who injured his left wrist on August 20, was placed on the 15-day disabled list retroactive to August 23.

MLBRosterMoves Twitter account confirmed Rosario's status yesterday afternoon.
Rosario, in his fourth Major League season, is batting .243 with 10 home runs and 48 RBI this season. He's a career .269 hitter with 62 home runs and 201 RBI.
