Seahawks Injury Report: Christine Michael, Tharold Simon, Kevin Pierre-Louis

By on 9/12/2014 08:00:00 PM

The Seattle Seahawks will look to keep rolling Week 2 against the San Diego Chargers with few major names on their final injury report:

All of Seattle’s starters appear to be at full capacity. The biggest name on the injury list is backup running back Christine Michael, who will miss his second consecutive game with a hamstring injury.
Michael was expected to see more action in 2014 as an explosive change-of-pace back, but has been unable to participate much over the last three weeks due to the injury.

Backup cornerback Thorold Simon will also be held out again as he rehabs a knee injury. With Jeremy Lane out a few more weeks, the Seahawks are a little short on cornerback depth at the moment.

Rookie linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. Reserve tight end Cooper Helfet participated in limited practice with a knee injury, but is listed as doubtful.

No new names are on Seattle’s injury report from Week 1, although the Seahawks placed backup center Lemuel Jeanpierre on injured reserve last week.
