Seahawks Injury Report: Marshawn Lynch, Bruce Irvin, Kam Chancellor

By on 9/19/2014 08:00:00 PM

The Seattle Seahawks will head into a Super Bowl rematch with the Denver Broncos nearly at full strength:

Reserve cornerback Tharold Simon (Knee) is the only player officially listed as out on Seattle's final Week 3 injury report. After a few injury scares mid-week, it appears the Seahawks will have almost all of their key pieces ready for Sunday.

Running back Marshawn Lynch is listed as probable after a back injury kept him out of practice on Wednesday. Third-string running back Christine Michael (hamstring) is also expected to make his season debut should Lynch's workload be reduced.

Tight end Cooper Helfet (knee) and linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis (hamstring) are also listed as probable after missing last week's loss to the San Diego Chargers

Saftey Kam Chancellor was held out of practice on Wednesday with an ankle injury, but is listed as probable. Chancellor played poorly last Sunday while dealing with cramps.

One note of concern is linebacker Bruce Irvin being listed as questionable with a rib injury. Irvin is likely not at 100 percent already after undergoing offseason hip surgery and a further injury will only slow his recovery.

Tight end Zach Miller (ankle) and linebacker Mike Morgan (hip) round out the Seahawks' injury report. Both are listed as probable despite missing practice on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Seahawks unexpectedly lost 30-21 to San Diego last week and were fortunate the score was that close. Seattle will look to get back on track at home against a Broncos team seeking revenge.
