Seahawks Injury Update: Earl Thomas, Kam Chancellor suffering from cramps

By on 9/14/2014 06:36:00 PM

Seattle Seahawks safeties Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor both had to exit Sunday’s game against the San Diego Chargers due to cramps:

A combination of on-field temperatures around 120 degrees and a heavy time of possession advantage for San Diego have led to some cramping issues for the Seahawks’ defense. Thomas and Chancellor both had to return to the locker room for IVs at different points in the third quarter.

Thomas returned late in the third quarter. There are no updates on Chancellor’s status at the moment.

Jeron Johnson is currently playing in place of Chancellor. San Diego’s offense has been in control for the entire game and losing Thomas or Chancellor for any more time certainly wouldn’t help matters.
