Texans Injury Update: Arian Foster 'game-time decision'

By on 9/26/2014 10:00:00 AM

After aggravating the hamstring he initially injured during training camp causing him to miss week three, Houston Texans running back Arian Foster will work out prior to the Texans week four match up with the Buffalo Bills according to James Brady of YAHOO.com. That is when a decision on his status for the game will be made.

Injuries are Foster's biggest issue over the the last couple years. A nagging hamstring can have season long implications if it is not allowed to fully heal. In his two games so far this season, Foster has been very productive totaling 241 yards on 55 carries with a touchdown.

In his absence, Alfred Blue ran the well effectively against the New York Giants. He rushed 13 times for 78 yards. He could be a fantasy possibility again this week if Foster is not able to go.

The decision, as Coach Bill O'Brien stated, will be made prior to the game in all likelihood. Check back with us as we will have an update when his status is determined.
