Titans Injury Report: Jake Locker, Delanie Walker

By on 9/28/2014 09:30:00 AM

The Tennessee Titans will face off against Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts today at 1:00 PM EST. The Titans will be looking to even their season and get things turned around against a team looking to do the same:

The list of players on the Titans’ final Injury Report for Week 4 is not long, although only one of the players listed is considered probable for today’s game. LB James Anderson (Thigh) participated in full practice Thursday and Friday, so it’s likely he will be on the field against the Colts.

Now for the bad news, the four remaining players listed are considered either questionable or doubtful. At this point the Titans’ QB Jake Locker (Wrist) is listed as questionable. There isn’t a team in the league that wants to be without their starting QB, especially a team looking to compete in an up for grabs AFC South.

The Titans will likely also be without two of their tight ends. Taylor Thompson (Knee) hasn’t practiced all week and thus has been deemed doubtful for today. Delanie Walker (Shoulder) on the other hand has practiced this week, but his minutes were limited. As it stands, although he was listed as questionable, don’t expect to see Walker in action today.

Finally we come to Ropati Pitoitua (Knee), another player that didn’t participate in practice this week. It won’t come as much of a surprise to hear that the Titans have Pitoitua listed as doubtful for the game.

The Titans should expect to be outmatched at the QB position today, but hopefully they can overcome the adversity and improve to 2 – 2 record on the season.
