Twins Injury Update: Tommy Milone has start pushed back

By on 9/13/2014 11:00:00 AM

The Minnesota Twins have struggled to a 62-84 record this season, largely in part to a pitching staff that is 28th in the league in ERA at 4.60. Now it appears that left-hander Tommy Milone, who has struggled since coming over from the A's, will have his start pushed back due to shoulder fatigue.

Our own Pete Schwichtenberg reported on September 4 that Milone was having his start scratched over the weekend due to shoulder fatigue, which he also had late last season.

Mike Berardino, who covers the Twins for, tweeted the following updates on Milone.
Milone, in his third Major League season, is 6-4 with a 4.23 ERA in 21 games with the A's and Twins. He's struggled in five starts with the Twins, posting an ERA of 7.40. In 85 career games, Milone has a record of 32-23 with a 3.99 ERA.
