Bengals Injury Update: A.J. Green did not practice

By on 10/23/2014 01:00:00 PM

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green's toe injury caused him to miss practice on Wednesday according to ESPN NFL Nation reporter Coley Harvey. Green's toe injury has hindered him for the majority of the season, causing him to miss a significant amount of playing time.

Green's status for Sunday's tilt with the Baltimore Ravens is still up in the air and will likely remain questionable until gameday. The perennial all-pro wide receiver did say on Tuesday that his injured toe was feeling better. Unfortunately, it wasn't feeling good enough for him to get back into action on Wednesday.

The good news however, is that Green did get some rehab work in during Wednesday's practice session. Geoff Hobson of reports Green did get some jogging and high-stepping reps in on the rehab field during Wednesday's practice.

Prior to Wednesday's practice, Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis told reporters that Green would not play until his toe was "significantly healed." However, Lewis did leave open the possibility of Green playing even if he isn't 100 percent.
