Blue Jackets Injury Update: Mark Letestu Out 2-4 Weeks With Groin Injury

During a 5-2 loss on Tuesday evening to the Ottawa Senators, the Columbus Blue Jackets lost center Mark Letestu for two to four weeks when he injured his groin on the final shift of the game. 

After completing an MRI this morning, the severity of the Mark Letestu’s injury was confirmed and announced by the team according to Letestu has three goals and two assists in nine games this season. In four full seasons in the NHL, Letestu has averaged 51 games played per season with the 2013-2014 season being his most durable to date (he played in all 82 regular season games). Letestu makes it nine regular members of the lineup that are currently injured and unable to play for the Jackets. 

The Blue Jackets play again on Friday at home against the Toronto Maple Leafs, when they will attempt to end a three-game losing streak.
