Brewers Injury Update: Ryan Braun feels "pretty good" after BP

By on 10/13/2014 06:30:00 PM

Ryan Braun's thumb was a topic conversation throughout the entire 2014 season, but it appears that in 2015 both he and the Milwaukee Brewers may finally be able to move past the lingering injury.  Team beat writer Adam McCalvy is reporting that Braun took BP yesterday for the first time since his thumb procedure and felt "pretty good," after.
A healthy Braun would be spectacular news for the Brewers as they would be able to add an MVP type player back to their lineup.  Last season the injury got so bat that fully extending through the baseball and pulling the ball became nearly impossible.  By being able to use the whole field, Braun could get back to elite.

Last season, he batted just .266 with 19 home runs as he set career lows in almost every offensive category.  If the procedure goes as well as hope, he could get back to having seasons that more closely resemble his career numbers.
