Broncos Injury Report: Montee Ball, Chris Harris

By on 10/18/2014 12:10:00 PM

The Denver Broncos released their injury report for the week, and luckily, there are not many injuries to report. There are a few bumps and bruises to go around, though -- most importantly, Montee Ball and Chris Harris Jr.

Montee Ball suffered a mild groin injury in week five vs. the Arizona Cardinals. It appeared to be a significant injury at the time, but it was ruled that he would miss about 3-4 weeks. We are going on week number two without Ball, and one has to wonder if Ball will be the starting back once he returns.

Ronny Hillman ran for over 100 yards last week -- something Ball has yet to do this year, so time is of essence for Ball.

Chris Harris Jr. is making his fifth injury report appearance this season -- it should be noted that he has still played in every game. Each time he has been listed, it has been with a knee injury, presumably it is just noting that his knee is still not 100 percent from his torn acl last season.

Harris has played well for most of the season, recording an interception over the team's first five games. He will have his hands full this week, because it is expected that he will match up against Anquan Boldin. Expect a tough, physical game Sunday night between the 49ers and Broncos.
