Browns Injury Report: Ahtyba Rubin, Jim Leonhard, Barkevious Mingo

By on 10/26/2014 08:43:00 AM

The Cleveland Browns' defensive line may be closer to full strength. Defensive tackle Ahtyba Rubin returned to practice this week and is listed as "probable" on the team's official injury report.

Rubin has been nursing an injured ankle that caused him to miss the past two games. The Browns had just 4 defensive lineman active in last week’s 24-6 loss at Jacksonville.

Also listed as probable this week is linebacker Barkevious Mingo. Mingo has been dealing with a sore shoulder all season. He even wears a harness to protect it from anymore damage. Mingo's play has dropped off considerably since the preseason, when he was healthy. Mingo has only 16 tackles and no sacks through 6 games.

The status of cornerback/punt returner Jim Leonhard isn't quite as clear. Leonhard is listed as "questionable" heading into this week's game against the Oakland Raiders. His bad ankle could keep him off the field. Leonhard has become the Browns' most dependable punt returner.

Oakland will invade First Energy Stadium having lost 12 in a row, the second-longest losing streak in team history.
